A Japanese convenience store called Lawson became the first store chain in Japan to partner with Uber Eats, allowing customers to place orders for items to be delivered to their doorstep.

According to SoraNews24, Lawson is available on the food courier service in 414 branches in 10 prefectures.

The factor that makes this specific convenience store special is that fact that it is the only chain that offers non-food and drinks items like manga issues on the Uber app.
