RIYADH: Tickets for the Riyadh Season Cup were sold for $12 million, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority has said.

Turki Alalshikh said on X that the sale amount does not include sponsorships and some rented spaces.

The Riyadh Season Cup involves Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Inter Miami from the US, with matches played at the Kingdom Arena, which was built in three months.

Alalshikh said that 300 world experts will oversee match broadcasts for the event, adding that the production cost for a single match in the Riyadh Season Cup equals the cost of eight World Cup matches.
