TOKYO: Senior diplomats from Japan, the United States and South Korea will meet in Tokyo on Monday to discuss North Korea, including its growing military cooperation with Russia, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said Friday.
The meeting will bring together NAMAZU Hiroyuki, director-general of the Japanese ministry’s Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Daniel J. Kritenbrink, U.S. assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs, and Cho Koo-rae, South Korean vice foreign minister for strategy and intelligence.
They will reaffirm close coordination among Japan, the United States and South Korea, the Japanese ministry said.
