RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held a telephone call on Friday.

The king reaffirmed the Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation of Israeli attacks in the city of Jerusalem and Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

The king prayed for the speedy recovery of those who were injured during the conflict and wished the Palestinian people security and peace. 

He added that the Kingdom will continue its efforts at all levels to stop Israeli attacks on Jerusalem by communicating with the relevant parties to exert pressure on the Israeli government.

Abbas expressed his deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s stances and thanked King Salman and the  government for their efforts to stop the Israeli aggression and support the Palestinian people at international, Islamic and Arab organizations.
