DUBAI: The Saudi-led Arab coalition destroyed two Houthi boats loaded with explosives near the western coast of Yemen, state news agency SPA reported on Thursday.
The boats were six kilometres south off Al-Saleef port in Hodeidah when the coalition destroyed them.
The boats threaten regional and international peace and trade, coalition’s spokesman Col. Turki Al-Maliki said.
Earlier on Thursday, the coalition said a Houthi ballistic missile injured a civilian in Yemen’s Marib.
The coalition will continue taking internationally legal measures against such attacks, Al-Maliki said. The militia have launched several drones, ballistic missiles and explosive-laden boats from Hodeidah, he added.
