ドバイ：UAEの火星探査機「ホープ・プローブ」は、火星周辺の計画された軌道に今から約3か月後に到達すると予想されている、とドバイ副大統領兼首相のシェイク・モハメッド・ビン・ラシッドが日曜日に発表した。

「ホープ・プローブ」は火星まで残り1億8,900万キロメートル地点におり、 現地時間の2021年2月9日の午後7時42分に火星の軌道周回を完了する予定である。

ホープはこれまで全旅程の60％をカバーしており、7月20日に打ち上げられてから111日間で2億9,000万キロメートルを旅している。

「火星への最初のアラブミッションが到達したら是非祝いたいと思います」とシェイク・モハメッドはツイートしている。
